{"id":3228,"date":"2010-07-26T16:02:58","date_gmt":"2010-07-26T15:02:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/?p=3228"},"modified":"2010-07-26T16:18:36","modified_gmt":"2010-07-26T15:18:36","slug":"enniskillen-rfc-rugby-summer-camp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/enniskillen-rfc-rugby-summer-camp\/","title":{"rendered":"Enniskillen RFC Rugby Summer Camp"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Enniskillen RFC are hosting a 5-day rugby camp this week for 7 \u2013 13 year olds.  80 children from the county are participating in the rugby camp, which is organised by Coach Robbie Watson.  Robbie along with a team of 7 qualified coaches is taking the various age groups through their paces in a bid to teach them a little rugby.   Included in the team of coaches is the new Ennskillen Club coach, French man Patrick Garat who was having a look at the talent for the future.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/ERFC-Rugby-Camp-01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/ERFC-Rugby-Camp-01-300x297.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"ERFC Rugby Camp 01\" width=\"300\" height=\"297\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3233\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/ERFC-Rugby-Camp-03.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/ERFC-Rugby-Camp-03-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"ERFC Rugby Camp 03\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-3235\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Many of the kids are new to the game, but were encouraged to come after Robbie had visited their schools in his role as Youth Development Officer for the area.  As a treat to the young players, Andy Ward, ex Ireland and Ulster rugby player visited the camp.  Andy played for Ireland 28 times and with over 120 caps for Ulster was part of the team who won the European Heineken Cup.  Andy now runs his own leisure club in Ballynahinch but would still be involved in fitness coaching to other clubs and sports.
