British and Irish Lions duo Joe Worsely and Stephen Ferris will saw their rugby boots hit the stores this month as leading footwear manufacturer ASICS launches its latest Lethal Tigreor.
\nThe purpose built boot has been designed with performance in mind combining lightweight materials that still offer an elite level rugby player strong protective support.
\nThe new Lethal Tigreor 3 ST features Kangaroo Leather Upper, the highest quality soft leather upper, helping to provide an optimum fit. The boot\u2019s 10mm heel gradient (HG 10mm) minimises the risk of injury by shifting body mass forward reducing the strain on lower limbs. In addition, the biomechanical effects the shoe has can increase the speed of the player across the ground.

Another new element is the lateral strap on the inside of the boot, adding support and keeping the foot firmly in place. Furthermore, a solyte polymer midsole wraps the upper more than it has done in the past providing more stability, whilst the Solyte midsole gives greater cushioning.
\nIrish international Stephen Ferris, who wears the Lethal Tigreor 3 ST, believes the technology gives him an edge over his opponents. He said: \u201cAs a back row player, I pride myself on always being near the action and my ASICS Lethal Tigreor\u2019s allow me to do that. The heel raise technology helps me accelerate faster than the competition; I\u2019m one step ahead of my opponent before they can catch a ball or make a tackle.\u201d<\/p>\n

England back-row legend Joe Worsley, also feels the boots have a positive effect on his game, saying: \u201cI pride myself on my work rate and tackle count. ASICS has developed a lightweight, comfortable boot in the Lethal Tigreor that doesn\u2019t sacrifice protection or stability which is perfect for me.
