Before flying out to the pre-season camp in the south of France, Adam D’Arcy scribed his second blog entry which once again gives us an insight of life inside the Ulster camp…<\/p>\n

\nEntry 2: July 15th – August 5th
\nBeyond Belfast
\nIt\u2019s been a busy few weeks down at Newforge Lane. Pre-season is drawing to a close and towards the first of three trial games, as reality sets in that season 2012-2013 kicks off in less than a month.<\/p>\n

We are now at \u2018Camp\u2019 phase, and for us that means a 5 day training retreat to Cabpreton, France, a small seaside town in the Basque country near Biarritz.<\/p>\n

I know what you\u2019re all thinking \u201csounds like a nice little holiday, you rugby boys have it so easy….\u201d Well if double training sessions daily culminating in a match against TOP14 side Bayonne sounds easy, I\u2019d say I just saw Declan Fitzpatrick drop a goal from 55 metres out into the wind at Ravenhill, blindfolded!! <\/p>\n
