Ballymoney Ladies Rugby Team is a committed and close squad of players that has been built up gradually over a number of years, with 10 to 20 ladies turning out regularly on Monday & Wednesday nights for training.
\nGeneral Information
\nLadies rugby is in its 4th season at Ballymoney having been founded by a small but energetic group led by Gill Powell during the summer of 2009.<\/p>\n
Our main aims are to:<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Cultivate a receptive climate for ladies rugby in the area
\n\u00b7 Actively seek out interested players, coaches & committee members
\n\u00b7 Support those ladies who wish to ‘have a go’
\n\u00b7 Develop every player\u2019s rugby knowledge and skills
\n\u00b7 Play at least 5 development games
\n\u00b7 Review progress and plan ahead for the future<\/p>\n
Gill would like to thank all of those connected with Ballymoney who have supported the ladies in their efforts. In particular she would mention the Club\u2019s Executive and the Ulster Branch, coach John Hunter and the public from Ballymoney and the surrounding towns who have shown their support. <\/p>\n

Training is at Ballymoney R.F.C. on Monday and Wednesday nights (19:00 – 20:30) with matches played on Sundays.<\/p>\n
