\nThe PortstewART Galleries occupy three premises on the main street of the North Coast resort. A minimum of 400 paintings are on show at any time. Most of these are by contemporary Irish artists but works by deceased artists and a smattering of works by artists from other countries are usually on show. The galleries curate exhibitions on a regular basis and complimentary catalogues may be had by phoning Pauline or Darach on 028 7083 4600 or by emailing michael@irishartgroup.com The galleries are part of Hughes Galleries Ltd., whose publishing division, the Irish Art Group, trades internationally. It publishes prints and greetings cards, has licensed images to large U.S. art publishing houses, and acts as agents for several Northern artists.
