Ulster Rugby today confirmed that they will play August pre-season friendlies against Bayonne, Leicester and Newcastle\u2026<\/p>\n
Ulster will begin their preparations against French Top 14 side Bayonne on Thursday 9th August. The fixture is part of a five day pre-season training camp in the south of France and will be played at Parc des Sports Jean Dauger (8pm kick-off).<\/p>\n
Ulster\u2019s first pre-season match at Ravenhill will be played against Leicester Tigers on Saturday 18th (2.30pm kick-off). The Aviva Premiership finalists most recent visit to Belfast came back in January in the Heineken Cup pool stages, when Ulster recorded a famous 41-7 win in front of a sell-out crowd.<\/p>\n
Newcastle Falcons will visit Ravenhill the following week for a fixture on Friday 24th August (7.30pm kick-off).<\/p>\n
The competitive season gets underway the following weekend with the first RaboDirect PRO12 game scheduled for the weekend of 31st August – 2nd September.<\/p>\n
Tickets for the home pre-season friendlies will go on sale on Thursday 28th June.<\/p>\n
