To celebrate 30 years of flying between London and Los Angeles, Air New Zealand has enlisted the help of some of its more recognised passengers to donate exclusive auction items and experiences, with the aim of raising more than \u00a330,000 for Phab – a small UK based charity which encourages people with and without physical disabilities to come together on equal terms through its clubs and activity weeks.<\/p>\n
The money raised in the auction will go towards Phab\u2019s 2012 Activity Week in the New Forest in August. The extra care and specialist tuition that is needed to enable a disabled child to benefit from these life-changing events costs Phab around \u00a31000 per child. The benefits are huge and give kids of all abilities a chance to experience activities ranging from zip wire to kayaking and rock climbing.
