The draw  for the first match in this round saw Carrick play Enniskillen .<br \/>\nCarrick kicked off the proceedings on a perfect evening for rugby and had the early pressure and nearly opened the scoring but for a knock on . The opening score of the game went to Carrick after a stolen lineout by Chris Taylor and no 12 Reece Hamilton ran in to score  8 mins .. The extra points were added by Fly Half Adam Kendell. 7 -0 to Carrick.  Carrick continued to apply the pressure and with some hard but fair tackling by both sides   increased their lead after 18 mins with a break by no 8 Dale Wilson  to score Adam Kendells place kick hit the post and the score at half time was 12-0 to Carrick.<br \/>\n[youtube DKrOQyQF4pE]<br \/>\nEnniskillen  kicked off the second half but it was Carrick again who applied the early pressure but Enniskillen had a chance to score when the ball was hacked up field but the chance went  begging . Carrick further increased their lead after a strike against the head and a pick up and run from the base of the scrum by no 6 Mark Ferris . 44 mins  The extra points were again added by Adam Kendell . 19-0 to Carrick .  Enniskillen showed their Character and never gave the game up and a superb break by no 6 Ryan Sandford from the base of the scrum , he looked  all  set to score but for a last ditch defensive tackle by Carrick. Enniskillen were rewarded for their efforts with a score by no 3 Andy McCrae after 54 mins when a tap penalty was passed out the line and an overlap developed and the try was scored in the corner .. The conversion by Patrick McCleery just fell short  .19-5 to Carrick .<br \/>\nCarrick went in search of a further score but more good defensive work by Enniskillen saw no more scores .
