{"id":24366,"date":"2012-03-26T11:16:57","date_gmt":"2012-03-26T11:16:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/?p=24366"},"modified":"2012-03-26T11:16:57","modified_gmt":"2012-03-26T11:16:57","slug":"grosvenor-rfc-bucks-beaten-but-unbowed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/grosvenor-rfc-bucks-beaten-but-unbowed\/","title":{"rendered":"Grosvenor RFC: Bucks Beaten But Unbowed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rather than reflect on the actual result or the performance from the Bucks on Saturday I simply want to state a couple of facts for the record.<br \/>\nGrosvenor RFC sent out 4 teams on Saturday, 1st XV played in the cup with 5 subs, 2nds were due to play a league game, 3rds did play a league game and the 4th XV fulfilled a fixture away to Antrim with 3 subs.<br \/>\nOverall this meant that Grosvenor RFC turned out 68 players on Saturday with still a few to be called upon in the event of emergency.<br \/>\nIt is only 6 or 7 years since the club had one team and limited scope for changing this. How times have changed!<br \/>\nGoing back to the game on Saturday, despite a severely lack lustre performance and a total demolition of a result I can categorically state that I am proud of all 18 (19) Bucks\/Stags who turned out to represent the club on Saturday.<br \/>\nWell done one and all! Our 100% record of fulfilling fixtures this season is still intact and should remain so for the rest of the season.<br \/>\nAdded to this there was a sprinkling of new faces on the Bucks team on Saturday, who hopefully will not be put off by what was after all an aberration.<br \/>\nOnwards and upwards men of Grosvenor.
