LV= SOS Kit Aid, in partnership with The Lord\u2019s Taverners, provides disadvantaged youngsters in<br \/>\nthe UK and overseas with recycled rugby and cricket kit. Bath, London Wasps, Sale, Scarlets and Worcester will go head-to-head to donate the most kit and help get disadvantaged youngsters playing sport. The \u2018Big Kit Challenge\u2019 will see rival fans compete to donate the most unused and unwanted<br \/>\nkit before the LV= Cup Round 4 concludes on Sunday 5 February. To encourage as many people as possible to donate kit, LV= SOS Kit Aid is offering the winning club\u2019s fans the chance to nominate a local school or club to receive a full set of rugby kit. The winning club will be announced on the LV= SOS Kit Aid Facebook page: www.facebook.com\/lvsoskitaid. Samantha Preece, Corporate Social Responsibility Manager at LV=, said: \u201cPlaying sport helps children learn vital life skills and yet many are unable to participate in sports such as cricket and rugby as they do not have the right kit. By recycling and redistributing unwanted<br \/>\nsports kit among children from disadvantaged communities we can help them access a wider range of sports that they might not have otherwise enjoyed.\u201d<br \/>\nThe \u2018Big Kit Challenge\u2019 is the next step in the award-winning scheme\u2019s ambitious pledge to recycle 26,000kgs of sporting equipment by the end of the year and get 26,000 young people playing sport.
