The 1sts, 3rds and under 15s all with wins ….<\/p>\n

The 1st XV finally got their first AIL win of the season against Wanderers on Saturday. Final Score 20 to 18. Match report to follow<\/p>\n

The thirds had a good home win at against Portadown while the under 15s, also at home won against Coleraine.<\/p>\n

On Saturday 22nd Movember some seventy Ards Men and Women descended upon Drumbo Park for a night at the Dogs….<\/p>\n

This proved to be a very enjoyable evening for all in attendance with great food and the wine flowing freely there were plenty of bets being placed.<\/p>\n

There were a considerable number of bets placed on one particular special revent as four of the senior players donned their fancy dress and sprinted round the track for a sensational race.<\/p>\n

Young Sparky McClean took an early lead leaving the rest of the pack to eat his dust. Coxy however gradually closed the gap and with only 10 yards to the finish line took the lead to win by a clear nose.
\nAt the other end of the Field Trevor (Motor Mouth) Devlin looked certain to come in third only to see Pete Croan put in the best tackle of his career and pull Devlin down just short of the line. Story of Trevors life!<\/p>\n
