BUSHMILLS\u00ae Irish Whiskey today launched its new \u2018BUSHMILLS Brothers – Since Way Back\u2019 campaign with good friends, current international rugby stars Rory Best and Denis Leamy.

\nHot on the heels of their recent trip to New Zealand, Ulster\u2019s Rory Best and Munster\u2019s Denis Leamy were both in Belfast today sharing the story of their friendship over a glass of BUSHMILLS. <\/p>\n

Rory and Denis have had a strong friendship on and off the pitch since they first player together at Irish schools. Despite representing different clubs at provincial level – meaning they often have to play against each other the boys remain good friends and just last year Denis was groomsman at Rory\u2019s wedding. <\/p>\n

Rory Best said: \u201cI\u2019ve been involved with BUSHMILLS Irish Whiskey for a number of years, so getting involved in \u2018BUSHMILLS Brothers – Since Way Back\u2019 was a no-brainer. Denis and I have been friends since we first played schools rugby, so I had to get him involved.\u201d<\/p>\n

The pair are the latest friends to join the campaign alongside a group of friends who have helped put local music on a global stage \u2013 Iain Archer, Bradley Quinn, Mark \u2018Mash\u2019 Ashbridge and Foy Vance.

\n Iain, Bradley, Mash and Foy have appeared on \u2018BUSHMILLS Brothers – Since Way Back\u2019 billboards across the country and in press advertisements. Rory and Denis have been sending updates to BUSHMILLS Facebook and Twitter fans from New Zealand and will featuring heavily on the social media sites throughout the campaign.<\/p>\n

The campaign is a local execution of a global initiative that celebrates the lives and brotherly friendships of artists and influencers across the world including acclaimed band Bon Iver, actor Elijah Wood, and electrofunk duo Chromeo and collaborates with each to produce creative, inspired content that reflects each of their passions.<\/p>\n
