\nLetterkenny ladies had a disappointing start to their development league campaign on Sunday last. A very close game seen the home side Ballyshannon just edging it. Letterkenny took the lead midway through the first half with a fine try from Laura Kenny. Just before the break Letterkenny lost there inspirational captain Ms Zena Gordon with a hamstring injury. Ballyshannon started the second half the stronger side and took the lead with a try. The Ballyshannon outhalf going over the line from just inside the 22m line. Lettekenny battled hard untill the end but just did’nt have that finishing touch required to take the upper hand in the game. Best for Letterkenny were Vika Vasilevska, Laura Kenny and Annette Pearson.
