1stxv lost 19-14 away to a very strong UUC. Massive improvement in perfomance & gained a losing bonus point. Ryan Garrett scored all the points with try & 3 excellent kicks. Difficult penalty into the wind to win it in last minute drifted wide. Well done lads – we know we have the players & will improve in line with training\/fitness as discussed. Special mention to marshy who again proved his worth with big performance in his new 12 position, also new signing John Boyd who has added a hard edge & was unlucky with a perfectly good try – disallowed by a very poor ref who gave us very little all day.<\/p>\n

2ndxv – Superb result v ballymena 3s winning 26-25 in what must have been a hum dinger. Special mention according to reports to man of match Jamie Nelson now finding real form in his best position at 7.

\n3rds – lost to Ards closed shop team who also included a few ‘up the club’ players. Birdy man of match – but this side will win more than they lose this season.<\/p>\n
