Let\u2019s Give Life a Chance – An Evening of Fashion, Beauty, Shopping and Entertainment\u201d is going to
\nbe held at the Slieve Donard Resort & Spa, Newcastle on Thursday 10th November 7pm.<\/p>\n

Organiser Mandy Lacey proprietor of Mourne Therapies says \u2018Both TinyLife, the premature baby
\ncharity for Northern Ireland and Tommys baby charity will benefit from the \u2018Give Life a Chance\u2019
\nevent.<\/p>\n

Every day in Northern Ireland 7 babies are born too soon, some will arrive as early as 24 weeks
\nand can weigh as little as 1lb!. TinyLife provides practical and emotional support to the parents of
\npremature and vulnerable babies.
\nSadly, 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage, 1 in 13 births are premature and 1 in 200 babies are
\nstillborn. Tommys hopes to half the number of miscarriages, stillbirths and premature births by
\n2030.\u2019

\nMandy continues, \u2018This event is aimed at not only raising a fantastic amount of money but also
\nhaving a great time.
\nThere will be a fashion collection from fashion houses around the County Down area with
\nsomething for everyone from casual wear to beautiful bridal and evening gowns. Fashions from
\nWildflower Boutique, Downpatrick; Hidden Secret Bridal, Banbridge; ASDA, Downpatrick and
\nChildrens fashions by Gorgeous Eco Baby, Newry. The children from Bunscoil Na mBeann, Kilkeel
\nare looking forward to strutting their stuff in the children\u2019s fashion show.
\nThere will be craft stalls there for you to shop till you drop selling jewellery, hats, bath and body
\nproducts, candles, you name it and for those looking to get pampered a range of beauty
\ntreatments will be available – manicures, pedicures, massages, eye brow waxing, make-over\u2019s as
\nwell as hair, fashion and wellbeing advice, all thanks to Marine Beauty Haven, Newcastle and
\nAurora Pamper Evenings, Newcastle and Kelly\u2019s Beauty Works, Annalong.
\nTwo lucky volunteers will receive an \u201cextreme make-over\u201d on the night; they will be whisked back
\nstage where they will get their make-up done, nails done, hair done and get fashion advice.
\nOn top of all this, there will be fantastic raffle prizes to be won, goody bags, entertainment from
\nDance Excel, singing from tribute band Moments that Matter, music by DJ Taz and all hosted by
\ncomedian Ryan Hand.
\nSo come along, bring all your friends, have a natter, a shop, see all the up-to-date fashions, have
\na dance and a sing and have a great night. But most of all ………… let’s help support tiny babies.
