A superbly entertaining game, added to by its derby significance for both sides. This fierce contested game was a superb encounter from sides with a healthy compliment of seasoned campaigners and fresh recruits. Donegal Town went behind early in the game by atleast 3 scores. They would not lie down and not only brought the score to within 5 points in the second half but also a 4-60 metre break away on the wing beating 3-4 solid tackles was onlt stopped metres from the line. <\/p>\n

Letterkenny brought the same flair to their game with intense strategic discussions at the blood intervals resulting in some superb scores.<\/p>\n
