Report &#038; Pictures"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our travelling North America reporter Derek Clements reports that the tourists had a<br \/>\nhard fought win against a strong Boston Babas squad. The boys overcame heat<br \/>\n(80 plus degrees again) a 3G pitch which caught out some of the boys with<br \/>\nunsuitable footwear and American Football marking added top the confusion<br \/>\nbut a tour is for adventure.<br \/>\nThe Babas were a selection of five local teams and this helped add to the<br \/>\nlarge crowd watching the game,<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/gallery\/?album=DungannonRugbyClubVBostonBabas\">CLICK HERE<\/a> FOR THE PICTURES<br \/>\nAdam Duhig opened the scoring when he touched down in the corner following a<br \/>\nneat positional kick by Michael Lawton.<br \/>\n0 \u2013 5<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.eurosportsdirect.com\/index.asp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-9533\" title=\"Click Here For Eurosports Direct E-Commerce Website\" src=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/eurosports.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"135\" height=\"943\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nUnfortunately Dungannon lost Stuart McKenzie with an injury but Craig Miller<br \/>\nstepped up to the mark. Dungannon scored again following a good lineout and<br \/>\nquick hands from a ruck saw Junior Vic Paul Magee race in. Michael Lawton<br \/>\nconverted<br \/>\n0 &#8211; 12.<br \/>\nThe Babas showed a lot of strength on their first visit to Dungannon<br \/>\ntwenty-two and their loose head Braiden Despain scored.<br \/>\n5 \u2013 12<br \/>\nJust before halftime some good Dungannon pressure resulted in a charge down<br \/>\nfrom which Adam gathered and scored his second try of the tour. Again<br \/>\nMichael Lawton converted.<br \/>\n5 \u2013 19<br \/>\nThe Babas upped their game second half with a much changed line up and<br \/>\nlooked fairly dangerous. Their handling was good and they were rewarded with<br \/>\ntries from full back Glynn Mackenzie, number 8 Alex Verdageur and centre<br \/>\nAlex Rollins. Two of the tries were converted putting the Babas five points<br \/>\nahead. Dungannon unfortunately lost Ethan Allen with an injury.<br \/>\n24 \u2013 19<br \/>\nDungannon dug deep and responded magnificently with Adam Duhig going close<br \/>\nbefore Paul Magee raced over for his second try of the game to level the<br \/>\nscores. The ever cool Michael Lawton slotted over the conversion to put<br \/>\nDungannon ahead.<br \/>\n26 \u2013 24<br \/>\nThe Babas almost stole the game in the last minute when their outhalf just<br \/>\nmissed a drop goal attempt.
