{"id":1447,"date":"2010-04-08T17:34:20","date_gmt":"2010-04-08T16:34:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/?p=1447"},"modified":"2010-04-08T17:38:12","modified_gmt":"2010-04-08T16:38:12","slug":"world-cup-winning-coach-to-visit-donegal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/world-cup-winning-coach-to-visit-donegal\/","title":{"rendered":"World Cup Winning Coach to visit Donegal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This month the Donegal Community Rugby Project is looking forward to a visit by Richard Hodges one of the Welsh 7\u2019s World Cup Winning coaches from 2009.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Richard will be delivering a training session to all interested senior players in Donegal in preparation for the Carrick 7\u2019s tournament to be held on the May bank holiday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Donegal players and coaches will also have the added bonus of having Richard on the sidelines for the tournament passing on his expertise as they take on some of the best 7\u2019s teams in Ireland and the UK.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Richard has been involved with the International 7\u2019s team for 3 seasons and coaches at many of the 7\u2019s series venues including Dubai, Las Vegas, Edinburgh and Hong Kong, so the experience he will bring to Donegal is of the highest level.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 7\u2019s training session will take place at Letterkenny RFC on Sunday the 25<sup>th<\/sup> April 12pm sharp. The two age groups who will be given the opportunity to learn more about the 7\u2019s game will be U19 (1991&amp;92) boys and Senior men\u2019s players (18+).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All players attending must register with their clubs or the DCRP at <a href=\"mailto:info@donegalcommunityrugby.com\">info@donegalcommunityrugby.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The interest from the clubs has been very promising and should prove to be an enjoyable venture for all the players involved including the trip to Carrick to take part in one of the largest 7\u2019s tournaments in the Northern Hemisphere.
