Belfast Harlequins lost narrowly at home and Malone drew art Gibson Park in their AIB Division 2 encounters.<\/p>\n

Belfast Harlequins 9 – 17 Terenure College<\/h3>\n

Scrum-half Michael Heaney kept Quins in touch throughout the game with two first half penalties and a third in the second half.<\/p>\n

The Belfast side, despite trailing to a converted try and penalty, looked to have secured at least a bonus point but even that was snatched from their grasp with an 85th minute try and conversion by Terenure. Final score Quins 9 – 17 Terenure.<\/p>\n

Malone 23 – 23 Clonakilty<\/h3>\n

Two penalties from Josh Pentland were scant reward for Malone’s first half performance. However Malone errors allowed the visitors to score two tries, one converted, and a penalty to lead 6 – 15 at half time.<\/p>\n

Malone eventually sorted themselves out and scored two tries with centre Stuart Wilson and Jon Anderson both going over. The tries were converted by Pentland to take the score to 20 – 15.\u00a0 Both sides exchanged penalties with Pentland again successful but a last minute try by Clonakilty snatched the draw in the dying minutes.<\/p>\n
