Ulster Rugby Provisional squad for trip to Leicester Rugby: Heineken Cup

Ulster have no fresh injury worries ahead of their Heineken Cup Pool 4 match at Welford Road on Saturday.

They started their campaign with an impressive 16-11 win over Clermont Auvergne at the weekend but there are no casualties from the bruising encounter.

John Afoa is unavailable this week after he returned to act as best man at fellow All Black Jerome Kaino’s wedding, a commitment Ulster Rugby were aware of when he arrived ahead of schedule earlier this month. Ruan Pienaar, Luke Marshall and Jerry Cronin remain sidelined through injury.

Leicester recorded a 12-28 victory away over Aironi in Round 1 so both sides the winner of Saturday’s match will occupy first position going into the double headers in December.

The two sides last met in the 2003/04 tournament with Ulster registering an emphatic 33-0 win at before being on the wrong end of a 49-7 scoreline in the away tie.
