Ballymacarn Park was a hive of activity on saturday past with 3 teams competing.
Fortunately the ice and snow had thawed and the games commenced. Troops assembled and battled progressed.
One of the games was a Junior League 1 game between Carrick II XV & Ballynahinch III XV.
Good rugby, followed by better rugby made for an entertaining game as the strategies and time on the training park where transferred onto the pitch. The guys have now been playing this season for a few months and their various paterns are cemented into place. But no one can legislate for sheers skill or sheer power in the scrums.
An excellent game and we look forward to covering both teams again soon.
