Trip To The Theater – To See Dancing Shoes & Sample The Dining @ The Grand Opera House Restaurant

Dancing Shoes – The George Best Story, tells of the turbulent and colourful life of one of the greatest footballers the world has ever seen.

From his childhood days kicking a tennis ball against a gable wall on the Cregagh estate to a life of fame, fortune and controversy, this story has it all.

Combining the talents of two of Northern Ireland’s most popular playwrights with the superb songwriting talents of Glasgow’s JJ Gilmour and Belfast’s Pat Gribben, Dancing Shoes is packed with great characters, beautiful songs and trademark Belfast humour.

A play by Martin Lynch and Marie Jones, with music and songs by JJ Gilmour and Pat Gribben.

We would rate this play as 10/10, anyone in Northern Ireland who has the chance should go and see it.

As for the food…..

Superb, freshly cooked, excellent food from the special Goerge Best Menu or go al la carte, we had a lovely time and enjoyed the very reasonably priced food immensely, the added twist being that you can order your desert to be ready at your table during the interval! A lovely touch which really does go down a treat!

Many thanks to Catherine who looked after us superbly!
