MOCK WEDDING FUNDRAISER: The club presents ‘My Big Fat Tranny Mock Wedding’ on Saturday night 29th in Maghery Community Centre. Starting at 7pm, and with a sit down buffet, late bar and disco, this Halloween epic promises great fun and spectacle of rugby players in drag. Fancy Dress preferred, this is a joint fundraiser for Tir Chonaill RFC and The National Childrens Hospital. Buses will run to and from Maghery on the night and guests can get home on these. Tickets are €25 from JP Baska at Coastal Locks or from anyone in the rugby club. Don’t Miss It !!!

Under 13 s : The youths took the long road to Dungannon to play them in the league on Saturday last. This is an outstanding team and they ran out 55 – 25 winners against this established club. Highlights were 3 tries each from man of the match Ryan McGarvey and captain Cian Boyle who also kicked one very difficult conversion. Other tries were from Sean McCann and Tony Byrne with a conversion from Ciaran Sharkey. Brilliant stuff lads keep it up !

Seniors : The seniors lost narrowly away to Donegal Town last Saturday on a sodden pitch at the Holmes. Again there were some players making their debut, and some injuries robbed the team of good players. Definitely signs of improvement though, and an odd new face most weeks. Keep up the good work !
