TAG RUGBY FINALS THIS WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY ALSO ULSTER RUGBY LEAGUE FINAL THIS SATURDAY!

This is it, the finals week for Ulster Tag Rugby and Rugby League Ulster!!

The Tag Rugby finals are at Newforge Country Club and Malone RFC on Wednesday and Malone RFC on Thursday. Kick Off 7pm. While the Rugby League Ulster final is at Ballynahinch RFC this Saturday with a 2.30 Kick-Off. Ballynahinch Rabittohs v Fermanagh Redskins.

These are the best teams in their leagues in Ulster! The standard is high and the competition is fierce. We will be covering all the finals in words and photographs this week.

Its been a rollercoaster for all the teams involved in all the competitions and whatever the results the committment from everyone has been immense and made for seriously entertaining games throughout the summer break from Rugby Union, (hard to believe pre-season training for Rugby Union starts in about two weeks), makes you wonder did anybody actually take a break!

But thats rugby for you, the variation within the sport allows a prop to take to the rugby league field one day and play tag rugby the next. what other game combines the physical demands of rugby with the immense skill and co-ordination used in a game like tag.

It has been a privilege to cover all the rugby so-far this season and we look forward to bringing you this weeks coverage of the finals.

Facebook is rife already this week with people throwing down the gauntlet to their oponents and their team-mates.

Let battle commence! Perhaps more importantly though there may well be quite a party at Malone, Newforge and Ballynahinch this week after the games so if you fancy being part of it then make your way to the venues and you are sure to bump into friends – after all thats what this is all about!
