SARACENS RUGBY STARS SWING IN TO TOPGOLF

Saracens rugby stars John Smit, Schalk Brits and Justin Melck got into the swing of things yesterday [Thursday February 16] at TopGolf Watford to test drive the newly-refurbished entertainment centre.

The centre in Bushey Mill Lane has just re-opened after a massive £500,000 makeover. The astroturf has been replaced, hi-tech target holes upgraded and improvements have been made to the audio/visual entertainment system.

The Saracens stars, who are reigning Aviva Premiership champions, took along mascot Sarrie the Camel to keep an eye on their back swings!

TopGolf Marketing Manager Michael Angelides said: “We’re delighted to have the Saracens players come and test out the centre.

“We believe the improvements we have made, not only to the game experience but aesthetically too, have enhanced the enjoyment members get out of their visits to TopGolf.”

TopGolf Watford opened in October 2000. Since then:

· 2 million people have visited the centre

· 4.9 million games have been played

· 98 million golf balls have been driven up the range
