On the last Saturday before Christmas, the Monaghan Bio-Sciences 1st XV gave themselves a much needed present. A run of poor form had seen them fall back into the clutches of their visitors who are currently occupying the relegation play-off place. This important and well deserved win sees them open up a 9 point gap with 2 games in hand.
