RECIPE: Maple Chicken Pitta Pockets

Maple chicken pitta pocket

Featuring: Pure Maple Syrup, 1 portion

Ingredients
For the filling
125 g cooked chicken breast, diced
½ apple, diced
2 tbsp dried cranberries
80 ml fat-free Greek yoghurt
10 ml pure Canadian maple syrup (preferably amber syrup for its rich taste)
salt and pepper, to taste
fresh parsley, chopped
For the pitta
1 white pitta bread, cut down the middle

Method
Filling
In a bowl, combine the cooked chicken, apple, dried cranberries, Greek yoghurt, maple syrup, parsley, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Assembly
Stuff the filling into the pitta bread.
Serve immediately and enjoy.
