From the start of the game to to the finish Rainey Old Boys represented the confident, postive and figting rugby that the Rainey Youth system has become synonynous with. Taking on the opposition in every facet of play they were broke the line on many many occasions, they took it to them in 15 man aggressive rugby and punched holes across the park in the opposition scrums, lineouts, and their entire line in general, the breaks from back rows, props, wingers, centres, dictribution of the ball from rucks was sublime and most of all they played for each other. THEY played quite simply better team and individual rugby than we ever played and the ferocious nature of their play supported all the while by the other three quarters of the I XV who had come to support the team from the sidelines. Having purposefully taken the advantage to blood II XV players in this game which meant that the AI Semi went ahead beacuase Rainey Old Boys allowed it to and boy did they turn up. An absolute honour to cover this youth system which is playing a brutal style of rugby that takes on any opposition.
