The Club is proud to announce the development of a new strength and conditioning room at our Hatrick Park facilities via a project supported by Ulster Rugby, the Department of Culture Arts and Leisure, Magherafelt DC and the generosity of our esteemed late member Robert Henderson’s estate.
Proposed Strength & Conditioning Room Layout / Ryan Keating
The key objective of the project is to increase the number of people (adults and children) from areas of deprivation being active within sport and physical activity. Additionally, the club will be developing programmes which overcome barriers to people’s participation in sport – access, finance, opportunity etc. Step one has been the appointment of Ryan Keating as the new Strength and Conditioning coach for the Club. He will work with both senior and youth players as well as developing programmes for community development and physical activity.
Work is expected to start in the near future and it is planned that the facility will be operational by the beginning of September.
