Have you ever used 550 cord or paracord? Chances are if you have, once its needed its a tangled mess. After numerous deployments to the middle east in the military and as a civilian, I can tell you personally that the times that I needed it, things went from bad to worse due to tangled cord.
The capabilities and use of 550 cord is limited only to the mind. Imagine being in a situation with extremely limited resources and something breaks. In the military/private defense sector, Ill tell you exactly how we fix things…. Duct tape and 550 cord. The point is, in emergency and military situations there are enough variables stacked against us. Untangling cord in order to complete the mission shouldnt be added.
