Rugby began for with Drumglass High School at U14

Who were the best props/teams you played against?
Over the years I would say Simon Shaw from Ballymena was always a good contest. I trained against Gary Leslie and even on the training park it was an eye opener, he is one of the best props i know.

A memorable moment?
Has to be when we beat Galwegians to stay in the 1st division, we had been written off by everyone and to turn round and beat Galwegians was a great win.

What does it feel like to prop?
Its very tough experience at the start, the first hit (if their scrum has a good hit it) will take the wind from you, and the best thing about it is whenever you have the measure of the opposition when no matter how hard he is trying he cannot shift you, when that happens it feels brilliant. Propping feels like a tonne weight on your kneck and an immense downward pressure! The whole body just goes into a lower stance and strains against the weight like a coiled coiled spring you try to be take the hit and then resist against it and then advance forward carrying all the weight. It is in my opinion the most honest of contests.

Who is the biggest bandit on Dungannon team?
The most bad we bugger would be Ali Birch, he is full of devilment and does not know what to be at next!
