Pro- Rugby League Player Rhys Evans and the Shoulder Brace

Today we are seeing significant increases in the number of rugby injuries. This can be down to the increasing popularity of the sport but also the higher levels of competition and aggressiveness. The big issue however, is that over 20% of rugby injuries are shoulder ones, but more worryingly so, is that over 45% of lost participation time at a professional level are due to shoulder injuries.

So what can you do?

There is loads of content online giving lots of ways in which you can protect and rehabilitate your shoulders from injury, but with so much information out there sometimes it’s hard to choose and trust the right source.

That’s why we have gone direct to the professionals to see what they do. We headed over to Warrington Wolves rugby club and gave our award winning, UK made Shoulder Brace to rugby league player Rhys Evans and their Head of Performance Services Ben Stirling to try out for a few weeks to see what they thought of it.
