Picture special: Fashion show fundraiser Ballyclare’s Catwalk & Cocktails

Ballyclare Rugby Club and Ladies Hockey Club held a fabulous evening of Catwalk & Cocktails recently. Clothes were modelled by over 25 rugby and hockey players, showing the clothes by Joli and shoes by Bonita, both based in Ballyclare. Guests were also entertained by Luke Armstrong, from Dan’s @the Corners, who demonstrated the tips behind making a Strawberry Daiquiri and Cosmopolitan. All guests received these free cocktails and they certainly seemed to be a hit.

The Clubs were delighted with the turnout, with a packed Clubhouse of over 150 guests. Colin Morrow, Social Committee, would like to thank the local businesses who supported this event and the models who did a fabulous job on the catwalk. A big thank to everyone from both Clubs who made the night a great success.
