Party on the Pitch – tickets available NOW!

As has been talked about for some months, Bangor’s big outdoor music event is taking shape, and tickets are available NOW!

All relevant licences are in and the organising committee are working alongside the PSNI and the local council to ensure the smooth running and safety aspect of the event runs smoothly. We must say to date the cooperation of all the relevant parties has been a breath of fresh air! Everyone is working together to make this a fantastic event for the town!

The‘PARTY ON THE PITCH’ is being headlined by Flash Harry, a Queen tribute band who will rock our socks off! They have been successfully gigging round Ireland for over 15 years & have even sold out the Odyssey in recent years.

Prior to Flash Harry, the Kings of Lyon, another amazing tribute band take to the stage and are sure to entertain everyone from 16 – 75 with their renditions of KOL’S biggest hits! Kings of lyon play all over the UK and as recent as January, packed out the Empire Music Hall in Belfast.

But not only have we got these 2 award winning, UK recognised bands performing right here in Bangor, but we have been able to secure the sounds of 4 local up and coming acts to entertain us first! Local bands ‘In an instant’ and ‘Skinny living’ are already beginning to make waves on the local music scene, and anyone who has heard ‘Patrick Kelly music’ has been an instant fan; the last of our local line up is ‘Villanova junction’ who’s great tune ‘John Brown’ has received rave reviews on the local music scene!

The day kicks off at 4pm and Flash Harry will finish up for 10.30pm. On site we will have a dedicated drinks tent, locally based caterers & niche food stalls. In fact, all facilities are catered for outside and if the weather is anything like last years Summer, this could prove to be THE event of the summer ….
