Accies Announce Ladies Team

Womens Rugby

Omagh Accies are delighted to announce that they will field a womens team this year. Holly McQuaid will captain the inaugural team with Judith Lyons taking on the mantle of manager.

The idea was mooted following a very successful mixed tag competition run over the summer months with tremendous interests from the ladies. Darren McGuigan and Clive Porter from the Ulster Branch were the initial divers with Omagh Director of Rugby, Phil Marshall taking on a pivotal role since.

Stuart McCain, scrum half for the Accies first XV has accepted the position of coach, and we wish him, Holly and the team every success.
