No tougher game to start the season with. With a few new players starting in their 1st Rugby Game ever, and some of our veterans having faced the hard hitting Carrick team in the past, nerves were running high as we landed in Carrickfergus on Sunday morning. We knew the Carrick team would look to rumble up the field and keep the game amongst their forwards and within the first 5 mins, their larger forwards drove over the Newry Line to take the lead 5-0.
