A very competitive game although the scoreline was one sided mostly to Cavan. 2 good sides and CI would enjoy a re match. Monaghan were very good, and now the extended I XV into the II team with a thriving youth system and schools getting on board will see the county of Monaghan RFC go from strength to strength. CIYMS may have been out quite late on Friday and also throroughly relished the game and on various occasions throughout the match we saw that within the side is serious ability, some of the lines were about as sweet as you will see.
