“The BRV-X is the tank of mobile speakers, with the durability to withstand any adventure, the sound technology to adapt to any environment, and the clarity and volume to blast all your favourite music in HD,” stated Andy Fathollahi, Chief Executive, BRAVEN.
To achieve its IPX5 certification – a rating that officially means “water projected by a nozzle (6.3 mm) against enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effects” – the BRAVEN BRV-X survived 12.5 litres of water per minute being hosed on it at 30kPA pressure from a distance of 3m. In real life, that means the BRAVEN BRV-X is happy being splashed, indoors or outdoors – all while it’s playing music.
Unlike some rugged speakers, the BRAVEN BRV-X doesn’t compromise on sound quality. The speaker includes custom-built drivers and an omnidirectional passive bass radiator, all designed specifically for the big new speaker. An indoor/outdoor switch adjusts audio output to fit its surroundings, while TrueWireless™ Technology allows wireless pairing with a second BRV-X to create a right and left stereo sound.
The BRAVEN BRV-X costs £199; it is available to buy now, direct from Braven.eu or from stockists including Amazon.
