Fed up with sweet, sickly protein bars and sticky protein gels, founder Carl Austin created Fori to challenge the way active people snack. As a follower of the Paleo diet, he was continually snacking on jerky and nuts and thought that there had to be a better and more palatable solution. After researching the market for a high-quality savoury protein bar and coming up short, he sought to invent a savoury snack without compromise. No compromise on taste. No compromise on nutrition. No compromise on convenience. A mission that is simple in essence, but huge in scope – to produce a healthy, natural, long-life, ambient, high protein snack bar.
The result of this is are Fori Bars, the UK’s first range of all-natural, savoury protein bars. Fori supports your clean eating lifestyle as each bar is made only of free-range / grass-fed meat, fruit, seeds and seasoning and comes in four fantastic flavours – Chilli Beef, Piri Piri Chicken, Thai Turkey and Moroccan Lamb. It has 20g of protein – perfect for fuelling your active lifestyle – and is gluten free, dairy free, nut free and Paleo friendly. The product has a shelf life of 12 months, yet has no artificial additives or preservatives. It can be kept at ambient temperatures so is the ideal snack to carry in your work bag, gym bag or backpack.
We’ve road tested this snack bar on endurance runs, horseback riding and hiking up mountains near Fori’s birthplace in South Wales. We’ve also enjoyed them as the perfect post-match recovery snack after a tough game on the rugby field. These bars provide superior sustenance at the times when you need it most. Their aim is to lead a snacking revolution – changing the snacking industry one Fori Bar at a time. #DevourandConquer
