For the past month four British and Irish Rugby fans have been in Australia battling it out against local rugby fans in the ‘Mane Event’ series, competing in random challenges ranging from sheep shearing to sun cream rubbing!
As the decider match between the Lions and the Wallabies draws closer, so too did the Mane Event final which was live on lionsmaneevent.com
The final will saw the four Lions fans: Englishman, Ben Stack; Welshman, Andrew Donovan; Scotsman, Scott Johnston and Irishman, Liam McGuigan compete in a ‘It’s a Knock Out’ style competition in Bondi, Sydney. The challenge involved pie scoffing and inflatable mascot paddling – amongst other things!
The Mane Event is organised by Microsoft search engine Bing and Qantas Airways, the Spirit of Australia.
