Driving into Lisburn RFC we notice how convienantly located the club is to the wider city. Driving into the club grounds itself the first thing to become visible is the extensive rugby pitches, we counted 3 with posts. Advertising is positioned clearly and tastefully at the end of the fully tarmaced road entering the ground and on the sign the club lists the 8 teams / sections with Mens, womens and youth rugby taking place at the club. Lisburn Rugby Club was formed in 1884 and is currently in its 129th year. The substantial clubhouse has a function room with bar, spacious and well maintained the club also has home and away changing rooms for several teams with showering facilities.
An enormous amount of work continues to be done by the entire club as they maintain and seek to grow the club.
