A superbly entertaining game, added to by its derby significance for both sides. This fierce contested game was a superb encounter from sides with a healthy compliment of seasoned campaigners and fresh recruits. Donegal Town went behind early in the game by atleast 3 scores. They would not lie down and not only brought the score to within 5 points in the second half but also a 4-60 metre break away on the wing beating 3-4 solid tackles was onlt stopped metres from the line.
Letterkenny brought the same flair to their game with intense strategic discussions at the blood intervals resulting in some superb scores.
Magic game lads, looking forward to the rest of the season.
