Junior League 2: Bangor Rugby 17 v Malone Rugby 15

Action from the first half of the Junior League 2 game at Gibson Park shows Bangor hooker Aaron Orr on the charge with Matty Coey in close support behind. In a very entertaining game, the sides turned around 10-10 at half time. In a tense finish, with the score 17-15 in Bangor’s favour and Malone rueing a number of missed goal attempts and failing to convert any of their three tries, the visitors sealed the win a penalty goal with two minutes remaining. A fine and rewarding effort for the 2nds who played a man short for the whole game. Bangor’s points were scored by Sereli Magoon with two spectacular tries under the posts, both converted by Pete Gray, who also opened and closed the scoring with penalty goals in the 5th and 78th minutes.
