Although Jonny didnt get onto the field of play in Irelands disappointing 26-6 defeat to Scotland in Glasgow last Sunday he retains his place in the squad for this weekends trip to the Gnoll, Neath, to face a full Welsh side gearing up for their Four Nations debut next weekend. The game kicks off at 6pm on Saturday.
Big names such as Gareth Thomas and Lee Briars will be lining out against the Irish who are sure to go into the game as underdogs.
Heres hoping Jonny gets on for his first cap this weekend, good luck to him and his team mates from everyone involved in rugby league in Ireland.
Remember tickets are available on ticketmaster.ie for the clash with France at Thomond Park on Nov 5th.
