As the evergreens walk up past the Ballynahinch RFC I XV having decided to kick off late so they can begin the socials as everyone stops to chat them as they walk up to the TOP pitch @ Ballynahinch RFC…. and so it goes with these guys who would play for the I XV if asked to young and old, male and female together at the club. Its just a game but it is a good way to spend a Saturday afternoon, its a good release. The game itself was the same as alot of games, both teams were out to win, its about getting across the try line and after a slow start the Evergreens got rise, thats the spark, the bit inside that snaps, game head on and then they took off in full flight up the pitch. We are reminded just how lucky we are in Ulster to have so many guys in their 40s, 50s and 60s and 70s playing and refereeing on a Saturday.
