InTouch TVV InTerview Alan Old & Fran Cotton from the 1974 Lions rugby “Invincibles” tour! In Belfast Thursday Past 40 Years Reunion

The pinnacle of achievements in world rugby is a lions tour victory because the players have not really played together a lot before the tour, and have not really come up through the ranks on the same youth and adult systems. That is one of the uniquenesses of the tour and to travel then and be the best of friends after several months on the road and to come back as the 1974 side did as undefeated champions over South Africa which had never been done before, not a wonder they are called “The Invincibles” it is our honour to present to you in Belfast along with the rest of the 1974 squad (although they have lost 3 members of the players from that side) Alan Old & Fran Cotton comment below on the tour
