The Grosvenor girls went into scoring arrears early in the game. Momentarily their heads went down and the glimpsed perhaps for the first time in their season the possibility of defeat! That was the reality of their position. Well you could almost see that in the same split second they calmed themselves, reformed their offensive position and took the play to the opposition with an internsity that the Girls Schools’ cup finals are renowned for. The Grosvenor girl warriors were awesome. From blitz attacks full of team and individual flair to phase built attacks leading to a try in the corner or an individual moment ot break the line. Again and again both teams scored to go ahead or level the game. In the end the Grosvenor girls erupted into the emotion of victory as they realised that they really had won the girls schools cup 2012!!!!!!!!! A quite simply outstanding performance against very accomplished opposition!
