Harry Faulkner, Limavady C&RFC Club Chairman welcomed some of the rugby team’s new players and coaching staff to the John Hunter Memorial Grounds on Saturday. The squad were tested in their first preseason game against Carrickfergus RFC.
The large crowd of spectators were entertained to an afternoon of hard hitting, running rugby. Limavady scored 4 tries to Carrick’s 2, winning by 22 points to 12. A great result against a team who play in the league above Limavady.
An excellent start for the Roesiders who fielded several new signings alongside existing players and others coming through their youth system.
