Harlequins Ladies II XV v Letterkenny Ladies I XV

A close hard fought game with both teams scoring some well worked tries.

Harlequins ladies did emerge the victors and both teams had several stand out players who will emerge into the higher levels.

The team spirit displayed by both teams was a joy to watch with good communication and individual skills allowing the teams to combine all of this into tries from the wing and the forwards, lots of passing, good discipline in the rucks both attacking the ruck and defending the ruck.

You will see from the pictures various players on both sides who consistently broke the game line time and again setting up tries and even scoring a few themselves.

Letterkenny must not be dissapointed by their performance as they were excellent.

Harlequins must be delighted with the crop of new players joining the ranks and pushing hard for the I XV jerssey and great to see a real II XV team spirit with the older hands providing a good knowledge of the game.

Well done to both and thank you for the Lasagne dinner afterwards!
