In 1969, Peter Gormley officially started trading used cars in a yard opposite the Farmers Mart on Lower Scotch Street, Dungannon. The business outgrew that site, and in February 1977 my father moved to the Ballygawley Road, Dungannon, our current site. That move to bigger premises coincided with us becoming Vauxhall dealers, where we continue today to sell and service Vauxhall cars and vans.
I joined the business in 1984. Our business continued to develop and prosper. Our next expansion came in November 2000. We moved into Omagh, after agreeing to take over the Vauxhall business, Continental Cars where John & Jim Eakin had decided to retire. In July 2001 we moved to our current site in Omagh, on the Dromore Road to a new 2 acre purpose built Vauxhall facility.
December 2013 brings more additions to our range of cars. We have added Isuzu and Great Wall pickups and double cabs to our product line up. In January 2014 we also added Subaru to our list of brands.
We have won numerous customer service awards. Our business is very lucky to have some of the best people in the industry working here. We remain a family business, with family values and influences. Our core values remain Quality, Affordability & Trust.
